Vehicle Description

Selling as a restoration project.
This would be an ideal opportunity, for a competent classic vehicle restorer, to preserve a piece of British Motoring History.
It looks to have been stood since the very early 2000's.
We believe that this van was formally a GPO van. Originally the van was painted dark green, as the early ones were, then resprayed in their 'safety' colour (golden yellow) in the late 1960's.
Remnants of the green paint can be seen under the bonnet and the inside of the rear doors. The van also has the wire mesh partition with storage baskets.
The current V5 document is present and is registered as a historic vehicle, therefore once restored the van will benefit from tax and MOT exemption.
There's only 3 owners registered on its current V5 document. The former keeper (husband of the current lady registered), owned the van since August 1987.
There's also some older style V5 documents and an old MOT certificate within the paper work.
