This 1961 Amazon is finished in grey beige with a contrasting black roof.
Its interior is very tidy and looks to be pretty original.
It comes with its current V5 document which is registered as historic, therefore benefits from tax and MOT exemption.
Within the history folder for the Volvo are past MOT invoices, servicing invoices and invoices to show the restoration works it's had carried out over the past 10 years. There's also photographs to show the works that have been completed.
Within the past few years, the Volvo has had 12V electric conversion, the front drum brakes have been replaced to discs, the original B16 twin SU engine has been replaced with the later B18 single Stromberg engine. A new radiator and fuel tank have also been fitted. The Volvo has had a suspension rebuild, including polybushes all around.
The dynamo has been replaced with an alternator and an electronic ignition has also been fitted.
