Bought from Armstrong Massey of York, by Kenneth Wilson LTD, in 1974.
This Triumph has a very low registered ownership.
The vehicle was originally driven by an employee of Kenneth Wilson LTD, as his company car, who then purchased the vehicle for himself in 1976.
The vehicle was registered to him for 38 years, but in his possession for 40 years, until registered to a new keeper in 2014.
Only 4 former keepers registered on its current V5 document.
Registered as historic, it benefits from tax and MOT exemption.
The last registered owner since 2015.
Within the paperwork is a current V5 document, older V5 document, passports to service, catalogues, old invoices dating back to 1976, Triumph handbook, older MOTs, notification of sale from DVLA in 1976.
The passports to service are stamped at 192 miles, 4k, 12k, 16k, 24k, 31k, 43k, 49k and 54k, all by Armstrong Massey.
We have taken the Triumph for a long test drive, which was enjoyable and seemed to drive well. The overdrive worked as should.
Not perfect on the paint but looks pretty original and still a very usable example.
Recommissioned in 2014, when the VOSA check starts, the vehicle was stood approximately 10 years at the end of the long term ownership.
MOT invoice from July 2017 showing full exhaust system, including mounts and brackets, replaced.
